By analyzing your competitors’ strategies, you can identify opportunities to differentiate yourself and stand out in the market, or influence practices and behaviors that make those other accounts successful.
To begin such an analysis, find your competitors’ accounts, and study them by paying particular attention to their content, posting frequency and perceived level of engagement. This will give you a clear picture of what they are doing well and where they may be failing.
Also, don’t hesitate to learn from your competitors’ successes and mistakes. Identify practices that generate positive results and adapt those strategies to your own approach. But at the same time it is also interesting to look at their weaknesses. Try to recognize the areas in which your competitors may be failing and look for ways to capitalize on those weaknesses.
